Carson-Newman’s Vickee Hollifield Wins 800th Game

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. -- Carson-Newman shutout Lander twice on Sunday in Jefferson City as C-N head coach Vickee Kazee Hollifield won her 800th career game.

Carson-Newman (32-6) allowed just three hits on the day to beat the Bearcats 9-0 and 3-0.

Hollifield, in her 23rd season at C-N, in now 800-247 all-time as head coach. She is currently in the top 15 in the all-time in NCAA Division II coaching victories and winning percentage.
