Wingate Women's Basketball Ranked No. 20 in D2SIDA

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate's women's basketball team rose to No. 20 in the new D2SIDA rankings.

The Bulldogs (6-2, 2-0 SAC) were idle during the week, yet the team is on a five game winning streak, including a nine point win over then-nationally-ranked Carson-Newman in conference action. Wingate leads the SAC in points allowed per game with less than 57 in a contest. They are also second in opponents' three-point field goal percentage at 26.3. In conference action, the Bulldogs top the statistical categories of steals per game (11.0), points per game allowed (50.0), and opponents' field goal percentage (26.4).
