Anderson's Mollenhauer Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson guard Alexy Mollenhauer has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played February 11 through February 17, the Conference announced today.

Mollenhauer, a junior from Lindale, Texas, led the No. 10 Trojans to a pair of wins last week, stretching their winning streak to 21 games. She scored 20 points and hauled in 13 rebounds for her 16^th double-double of the season in a 72-63 win over Carson-Newman. Mollenhauer then poured in 27 points with 15 boards for her 17^th double-double in the Trojan's 93-48 win over Coker. For the week she averaged 23.5 points, 14 rebounds, 3.5 assists and two blocks.

This is Mollenhauer's fifth Player of the Week selection this season.
