Collier Adds Regional Player of the Year to List of Accolades

Rock Hill, S.C. (theSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial's Kamil Collier has been named the D2CCA Regional Player of the Year as the All-Region team was announced this afternoon. Joining Collier on the first team are Lenoir-Rhyne's Aaliyah El and Coker's Shawnteanna Tillman.

UVA Wise's Caroline Mullins and Carson-Newman's Jennifer Sullivan were named Second Team selections.

Collier had a huge season for Lincoln Memorial who earned the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and earned the right to host. Collier, a senior from Nashville, Tenn., averaged 18.2 points per game and 11.2 rebounds per contest while adding 40 steals and 11 blocked shots. She was named SAC Player of the Year and was a three-time SAC Player of the Week selection.

El helped Lenoir-Rhyne to its first SAC Regular Season title since 2014 and Tillman led the Cobras to their first-ever SAC Tournament championship.
