Lenoir-Rhyne's O'Connor Named 2020 SAC Women's Golf Elite 20 Winner

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne's Ainee O'Connor has been selected as the 2020 Elite 20 Award winner for women's golf, presented by the South Atlantic Conference on Sunday, April 5.

This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 20 team championship sports. 

O'Connor, a senior from Kent, England, has a 3.992 GPA majoring in German and International Economics with 122 credit hours.

On the links this season, she tied for first at Battle at Hilton Head, while tying for second with a 145 at State Farm Intercollegiate. Overall, she had four top 10 finishes on the year.
