Anderson's Hall Named 2021 SAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for Women's Golf
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson's Victoria Hall was voted the South Atlantic Conference Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the Conference office announced today.
The South Atlantic Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year award is presented annually to one student-athlete in each of the Conference's championship sports, and is voted on by the SAC's Faculty Athletic Representatives Committee. The winners are selected based on their achievements in academics, athletics, service, and leadership.
Hall, a junior from Moore, S.C., holds a 4.0 GPA as a kinesiology major. She is a three-time Dean's List honoree and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society, in addition to being named the 2020-21 SAC Elite 20 winner for women's golf.
"I am so excited to see Victoria honored with the SAC Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete award," said Anderson head coach Danny Neal. "She is very deserving of this award as her excellence has been demonstrated both on the course and in the classroom. I can't think of anyone more worthy to receive this honor."
A two-time second team All-SAC selection, Hall was named to the SAC Women's Golf All-Tournament team in 2021. She posted a 77.05 stroke average in seven tournaments and had five top-25 finishes this season. She is currently ranked in the top-60 NCAA Division II women's golfers by Golfstat.
An active member of the Anderson community, Hall is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, is a Baptist Collegiate Ministries Small Group Leader, and is the Kinesiology Club Secretary. She also volunteers at Upstate Physical Therapy.
