Wingate's McLaughlin Named South Atlantic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate's Hailey McLaughlin was named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for events played during the seventh and eighth weeks of the 2022-23 season, the Conference office announced today.

McLaughlin, a senior from Markham, Ontario, Canada, led the Bulldogs to an eighth place finish as a team at the Rollins Legends Invitational. She carded rounds of 77, 71, and 72 to earn a top-15 finish individually and had a scoring average of 73.3 for the week. McLaughlin is currently ranked No. 9 in the NCAA Division II Golfstat rankings.

The bi-monthly award is awarded to the top golfer in the SAC based on their results from the previous two weeks of play.
