Three SAC Teams Ranked in 2023-24 Preseason Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll
CORAL SPRINGS, Florida (September 1, 2023) – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the results of the 2023-24 Preseason Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll. Three South Atlantic Conference programs were included in the top-25 rankings.
Anderson was the top SAC program, landing at No. 7. Limestone was voted No. 13, and Wingate was voted No. 16. Receiving votes in the poll was Carson-Newman (1).
The next Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll will be released on Friday, September 29.
The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization
representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 700 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
