McGaha and Anderson Lead After Conclusion of Day Two of NCAA Super Regional
CLEVELAND, TENN. -- After the second day of the 2024 NCAA Women's Golf South Super Regional hosted at the Cleveland Country Club, Kennedy McGaha and the Anderson Trojans sit in first place. McGaha fired her second consecutive 68 to sit at -4 for the tournament, two shots ahead of Flagler's Stella Jelinek. As a team, Anderson lost two strokes from day one and shot a 289 as a team but are still 12 shots ahead of second-place Flagler.
Anderson has three players in the top seven with Kennedy Gooding at fifth with a 143 (-1) and Jessica Rathbone at 145 (+1).
Lincoln Memorial's Lauren Martin, who qualified as an individual, shot a 72 on the day and her 146 for the tournament puts her in a tie for 10th place.
Limestone jumped up one spot to 10th place out of the 12 team field with a 301. The Saints shaved 11 strokes off their day one team score. Wingate dropped four spots to 11th with a 314 team score.
