Lenoir-Rhyne Pair Named SAC Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week
The Lenoir-Rhyne duo of midfielder Lauren Donovan and goalkeeper Amanda Cotto have been selected as the SAC Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week following their performances over three matches.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne duo of midfielder Lauren Donovan and goalkeeper Amanda Cotto have been selected as the SAC Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week following their performances over three matches.

Donovan tallied seven goals and eight assists in Lenoir-Rhyne's three matches last week, finishing with a shooting percentage of 77.8-percent.
After netting one goal on Wednesday in a loss to Rollins, Donovan posted three goals and six assists in a 23-8 L-R win over Wingate on Friday. She closed the week with three goals and two assists in a Sunday setback to Florida Southern.
Donovan also added nine draw controls, eight ground balls and three caused turnovers last week. She leads the SAC with 49 points this season.
SAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week | Amanda Cotto, Lenoir-Rhyne
Cotto posted a total of 17 saves and had a .354 save percentage for the Bears last week. She finished with eight saves in each of L-R's matches against Rollins and Florida Southern – both of whom are ranked in the nation's top 10.
Cotto also earned the victory in Lenoir-Rhyne's 23-8 conference win over Wingate on Saturday, allowing only five goals in 30 minutes in the net. On the season, she has 53 saves and a .408 save percentage.
