Lenoir-Rhyne Sweeps Astroturf Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played in the second weekend of the 2020 season. Lenoir-Rhyne collected both offensive and defensive honors with Alyssa Sack and Teanna Sieben, respectively.

A junior attacker, Sack helped lead the Bears to a 20-15 win over Belmont Abbey this past weekend. The Senoia, GA. native scored eight goals on eight shots while adding one caused turnover. This is Sack's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

Sieben, a sophomore goalie, helped the bears defensively with her second-most saves in a single game with 13 saves against the Crusaders. The Bienfait, Saskatchewan, Canada native held strong in her 60 minutes between the posts making nine of her saves in the second half. This is Sieben's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
