Queens and Limestone Ranked in the IWLCA Division II Coaches Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released their first Division II Coaches poll today, (APR. 5). The Poll Featured Queens at No. 6 and Limestone at No. 13.
This week offers limited Top-25 action, as most teams are engaged in conference play. Wednesday's lone game features #6 Queens at #13 Limestone, while Friday is highlighted by an SSC battle between #11 Rollins and Florida Southern (#4) in Lakeland. The only weekend matchup between ranked teams is on Saturday, when #15 New Haven visits #3 Le Moyne for an NE-10 clash.
The Royals are 8-1 overall this season and the Saints are 8-0 overall. The SAC women's lacrosse teams have begun their regular season play with the Conference Tournament set for March 20, 23 and 25.
All teams in the poll have begun competing.
