The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors

THE SOUTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES ASTROTURF WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK HONORS

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played in the third weekend of the 2022 season. UVA-Wise's Caroline Earnshaw took the offensive honor and Mars Hill's Lauren Bryner took the defensive honor.

Earnshaw, a Senior midfielder, Round Hill, VA., helped the Cavaliers to a 2-0 record on the third week, totaling six points on five goals, three ground balls, three draw controls, and three caused turnovers in their 17-1 win over Lees-McRae. She went on to dish out one assist, one ground ball and one draw control leading them to a 10-9 win against Lander. This is Earnshaw's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

Bryner, a freshman goalie from Raleigh, NC., helped the Lions secure a 18-10 wing against Emmanuel this past week. She played 45 minutes between the posts totaling with eleven saves for a 68.8 save percentage. This is Bryner's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
