The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played in the seventh weekend of the 2022 season. Queens Rebecca Kinsley took the offensive honor and Queens Grace Guglielmo took the defensive honor.
Kinsley, a senior attacker, from Long Beach, NY., helped the Royals to a 2-0 record on the seventh week, totaling six points, two goals, four assists, four turnovers, one caused turnover, and two ground balls in their 19-12 win over Wingate. She went on to dish out eight points on three goals and five assists with one ground ball, and one turnover, leading them to a 22-0 win against Mars Hill. This is Kinsley's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
Guglielmo, a senior defender from West Babylon, NY., helped the Royals secure a 19-12 win against Wingate this past week. She totaled seven ground balls, five draw controls, and seven caused turnovers. She also garnered three ground balls and three draw controls which led the Royals to a 22-0 win against Mars Hill. This is Guglielmo's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
