C-N’s Angus Named to Women’s Soccer All-American Team

MISSION, Kans. - Carson-Newman sophomore Rebecca Angus (Middlesborough, England) has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-American team.

Angus, a third-team All-American selection, was selected as the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Player of the Year for 2004 after she led the Lady Eagles to their second consecutive SAC title. The Lady Eagles were 19-3-2 overall and advanced to the NCAA Division II Final Four for the first time in school history.

Angus led the Lady Eagles with 18 goals and nine assists and finished the season with 45 total points. She helped lead the Lady Eagles to the best season in school history and a third-place finish in the final NSCAA Division II poll.
