LMU’s Becky Thompson Named Women’s Soccer Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. ­- Lincoln Memorial University forward Becky Thompson is this week's South Atlantic Conference women's soccer Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday afternoon.

Thompson, a senior from Frederick, Maryland, tallied the game-winning-goal in LMU's 1-0 win over regional opponent Mount Olive College to help the Lady Railsplitters improve to 3-0.

Thompson is tied for second in the conference with 2.33 points per match this season.
