Three Women’s Soccer Teams In NCAA Region Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Committee has released the NCAA Division II women's soccer poll with three South Atlantic Conference teams ranked in the top 10 of the Southeast Region.
Lenoir-Rhyne University remains in fifth place, while Wingate University continues to hold the seventh spot. Carson-Newman College remains at tenth.
Six teams from each of the eight regions will make up the 48-team NCAA Championship field. In the Southeast Region, the conference tournament champion from the South Atlantic Conference, Peach Belt Conference, and Conference Carolinas will earn an automatic bid into the national tournament. There will be three at-large selections.
Records are through October 31. This is the final regular-season poll. Championship selections will take place November 8. Selections will be announced at 7 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, November 8 via a webcast selection show on NCAA.com.
