The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week, Oct. 12

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens forward Charlotte Ring has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for games played Oct. 5-11, the League announced today.
Ring, a freshman from Schwerin, Germany, helped the Royals defeat Catawba and Mars Hill last week after posting three goals and one assist. In Queens' 1-0 overtime win against the Indians, Ring contributed the assist nearing the 100th minute to give Alana Jefferson her first goal of the season and the golden goal of the match. She recorded her first hat trick of her collegiate career against Mars Hill on Oct. 10 in the Royals' 4-1 win. Ring leads Queens in points this season at 13 on six goals and one assist. The award marks her first Player of the Week plaudit this season.
