Five SAC Women's Soccer Teams Ranked in Second NCAA Southeast Region Ranking
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted five teams in the NCAA Southeast Regional Women's Soccer Rankings. Lenoir-Rhyne came in at No. 2, with Catawba checking in at No. 4, Wingate is No. 7, Lincoln Memorial is No. 9, and Queens earned the No. 10 spot.
The Bears are currently ranked No. 8 the United Soccer Coaches Division II National Poll with a record of 13-2 overall.
The Catawba Indians have a record of 11-2-2 overall, while Wingate is 11-3-1. Lincoln Memorial is 12-4 overall and Queens is 11-5-1 overall.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
