Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba Remain in the USC Top 25 for Seventh Straight Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) -- For the seventh straight week, Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba are nationally ranked women's soccer programs as the United Soccer Coaches announced its weekly poll. This is the seventh poll of the season released by the organization.
Lenoir-Rhyne jumped up one spot from No. 7 to No. 6 in this week's poll. The Bears improved to 9-0-3 overall and 7-0-1 in the SAC and ran their winning streak to six in a row. Last week, LR topped Mars Hill 3-0 and Carson-Newman 1-0.
Catawba moved up two spots from No. 21 to No. 19. Catawba improved to 8-1-4 and 6-0-2 in league play. On Wednesday, they had a scoreless draw with Wingate and then defeated Emory & Henry 4-0.
