Catawba Women's Swimming & Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Swimming Earn Top DII GPA; 24 SAC Individuals Named Scholar All-Americans
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recognized nine SAC teams and 24 SAC individuals as Scholar All-Americans. Catawba earned the highest women's team GPA (3.85) for Division II while Lenoir-Rhyne earned the highest GPA (3.58) for the men.
Joining Catawba on the Women's Scholar All-American Team list was Lenoir-Rhyne with a 3.76 GPA, Wingate with a 3.69 GPA, Mars Hill with a 3.47 GPA, and Emory & Henry with a 3.41 GPA. In addition to Lenoir-Rhyne on the men's side, Catawba made the list with a 3.47 GPA, Wingate with a 3.10, and Mars Hill with a 3.01.
Of the 24 SAC swimmers indivudually honored as Scholar All-Americans, Wingate recorded 19. Lenoir-Rhyne followed with four, and Catawba rounded out the group with one.
