Carson-Newman's Price Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Carson-Newman's Hannah Price has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during the second week of the 2021 season, the Conference announced today.

Price, a senior from Knoxville, Tenn., went undefeated on the court last week, while leading the Eagles to a pair of non-conference wins over Belmont Abbey and Tennessee Wesleyan. Price picked up a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles with partner Natasha Forrest versus Belmont Abbey and was victorious at No. 3 singles, winning 6-3, 6-3. She then picked up another 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles against Tennessee Wesleyan, along with a 6-1, 10-2 victory at No. 3 singles.

This is Price's first Player of the Week selection this season.
