Anderson's Greer Named South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Women's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson's Anna Greer has been named the South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week three of the 2023 season, the Conference announced today. 

Greer, a junior from Boiling Springs, S.C., led the Trojans to a 2-0 record this week with wins over Erskine (4-3) and Emory & Henry (7-0). Individually, Greer went 4-0 with a pair of singles wins and a pair of doubles wins. She picked up a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles against Erskine and won 7-5 at No. 2 doubles. Versus Emory & Henry, Greer won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and picked up a 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles.
