The South Atlantic Conference Announces 2020 Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship Awards

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Following the completion of the 2020 South Atlantic Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship the major awards for the meet were announced. The results are as follows.

On the men's side Carson-Newman's Christian Shouse was named Freshman of the Year, as well as Men's Field Athlete of the Meet. Felix Wammetsberger of Queens won this year's Men's Track Athlete of the Meet.

Winning the 2020 SAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Freshman of the Year Award was Queens' Madison Webster. Her Teammate Jenny Koehne won both Track and Field Athlete of the Meet. The Royals Head Coach Jim Vahrenkamp was named Coach of the Year for both the men's and women's teams.

The 2020 SAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year Award is still to be determined. Following the completion of the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championship, the head coaches will vote on the top track and field performer throughout the entire 2020 season.
