Catawba's Reagle and White Named South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Catawba's Aislynn Reagle was named the South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, and Catawba's MeKayla White was named the South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for meets contested during the sixth week of the indoor track & field season, the Conference office announced today.

Reagle, a junior distance runner from Spring Hill, Tenn., set a new program record in the mile at the Camel City Invitational last week with a time of 5:07.42. She also took home second place honors in the 5,000-meter run with an NCAA provisional time of 17:18.67.

White, a senior jumper from Burlington, N.C., posted an NCAA provisional mark in the long jump with a second place leap of 5.83 meters at the Camel City Invitational. She also took home third place honors in the triple jump with a jump of 11.62 meters.
