Wingate's Moena Battle finishes third in NCAA indoor high jump
Virginia Beach, Va.----Wingate University graduate student Moena Battle finished third in the women's high jump in the NCAA Division II indoor national championship meet at the Virginia Beach Sports Center Friday night. Battle is a first team indoor All-American for the second year in a row. She earned the same distinction as an Emmanuel (Ga.) College senior in 2022. READ MORE
Carson-Newman track and field sets a quick pace in day one of the NCAA DII Indoor Track and Field Championships
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.- Sade De Sousa kicked off the championships for the Eagles as she raced in the women's 60-meter dash prelims at 3:15 p.m. De Sousa finished in sixth with a time of 7.41 seconds. De Sousa was afforded this opportunity because of her 7.41-second seed time in the event at the VMI Invitational earlier this season. READ MORE
