Lenoir-Rhyne's Kiplagat Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets competed in during the week of Sept. 24 through Sept. 30-. Lenoir-Rhyne's Domtila Kiplagat was named the runner of the week.

Kiplagat, a senior from Eloret, Kenya, set a new Lenoir-Rhyne 5k record at the Queens Invitational last week. Her time of 18:06 broke the Bear's previous mark and was the top time by any SAC runner at the event. Overall, Kiplagat finished 12^th and helped lead the Bears to an 11^th place finish as a team.

This is Kiplagat's first Runner of the Week accolade this season.
