NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced week three of its Southeast Region Women's Cross Country Poll on Tuesday (Oct. 1.)

Four teams from the South Atlantic Conference were represented in the poll, including preseason favorite, Queens in the No. 1 spot for the third consecutive week. 

The SAC teams were spread across the board as Wingate, checked in at No. 2 and moving up one spot to No. 5 is Lenoir-Rhyne. 

Rounding out the SAC teams in the poll is Anderson at No. 7.  

The SAC cross country season is underway with meets leading all the way up to the SAC Championship Meet at the end of the month (Oct. 26.)
